Our feet are expected to take 10000 steps per day, thats 35 million steps per year! Your feet are probably the last part of your body you think about – until they start hurting. They’re too important to overlook though: With some 26 bones and a complex framework of muscles, tendons and ligaments, your feet absorb the impact of your full body weight with every step.
The problems that can afflict your feet are numerous; foot odour, cracked skin, arch pain, corns, ingrown toenails and even damage to the tendons and bones can cause discomfort and reduce mobility.
Although some of these problems are congenital, many can be avoided and all of these problems worsen with age!

A little about me.
I have been a fully qualified podiatrist for over 8 years. I first worked for the NHS where I gained experience in a number of different clinics, these included High Risk – diabetes and circulatory disorders, Musculoskeletal and Nail Surgery clinics.
I now work part time in the NHS as well as working in my own clinic in the private sector. Check out the ‘About Page’ for more information!
